Pre-treat & agitate
A fabric-safe pre-treatment lifts body oils, food residue and general grime out of the weave ready for extraction.
- 03Step 3
Extract & rinse
Hot or warm-water extraction (matched to the fabric) flushes the loosened dirt out. Moisture is drawn back out in the same pass.
- 04Step 4
Deodorise & restore nap
Optional deodoriser is applied. We brush the nap back to the original direction so the piece looks lifted, not flattened.

- Almost always, yes — fabric, microfibre, and most synthetics. We check the manufacturer cleaning code (the tag under a cushion) before starting. For delicate natural fabrics like silk or linen we use low-moisture methods. Leather is a different service — ask us and we'll refer you.
- Most sofas are dry to touch in 2–3 hours and fully dry in 4–6. We'll position fans if it helps. You'll want to avoid sitting on it for 4 hours post-clean.
- Yes — we use enzymatic treatments designed for pet oils and dander. Deeply embedded odour in the foam may need a second treatment, but the first clean solves almost every case we see.
- Every 12–18 months is the sweet spot for a family home. Pet households benefit from 6–12. More than a light clean in between will dry out the fabric over time — so the annual professional clean is the one that matters.
